Providing us with as much detailed information as possible in your queries will enable us to conduct a thorough search of our collections. Please include specific details of all records you are seeking, and what resources, if any, that you have already researched in regard to your request. You will be informed of our research findings and given opportunity to order copies of any document(s) located. Should we locate documents for you, our charges are listed below. As local history buffs and genealogists ourselves, we strive to answer queries just as though we were researching our own family. We will do our best to assist you with queries, and to reply as quickly as is possible.

Births: $6.00 each
Marriages: $5.00 each
Deaths: $6.00 each
Obituaries: $4.00 each
Cemetery Transcriptions: $2.00 per page
High Resolution Photographic Scans: $5.00 each
We may be able to provide you with additional data found in various sources within our archives. If so, we will inform you of charges for copies of all documents located and ask whether you’re interested in ordering copies of those as well. All prices include postage costs. Checks may be made payable to FCHS. We regret that we cannot accept credit card payments at this time.
We’d love to welcome you to our history center should you wish to conduct research on your own. Our resource materials are available to genealogists and researchers for the purpose of conducting their own research. Staff and/or volunteers may be available to assist. No admission is charged for on-site use of our genealogy library, but donations are welcomed, encouraged, and gratefully received. Standard minimal copying fees are charged for any documents that you copy on-site from our collections. Currently our on-site prices run fifty cents per copy, or $1.00 per microfilm copy.
SCANNER and CAMERA and LAPTOP ACCEPTABLE USE POLICY:
- Cameras ARE allowed in the genealogy library.
- A $10 surcharge is required for use of your personal laptop computer while in the genealogy library.
- Scanners are NOT allowed in the genealogy library.
