!!! An Important Word about FCHC Online Indexes !!!
Indexes uploaded for online searching of the Fillmore County History Center’s genealogy library holdings were created by history center staff and volunteers and constitute a significant investment by the organization in time and resources. These indexes are unique to the FCHC genealogy library and are not available anywhere else. All FCHC indexes are copyrighted by the Fillmore County Historical Society and solely owned by the Society.
Copyright Fillmore County Historical Society ©2013 DO NOT COPY OR DISTRIBUTE.
The original files from which these digitized indexes were abstracted began as hand-written and/or typed on index cards and in binders made available to library patrons. With the advent of computers the files were transferred to Microsoft Works, and later converted to Excel spreadsheets. In 2013, all indexes now available online in partial format were converted to PDF format for easy web searching.
NOTE: The original digital FCHC databases contain information and references in their entirety and are viewable by the public at laptop computer stations in the genealogy library. The abstracted online indexes below are intended to be a starting point for researchers. For full and further information on any entry found in FCHC online indexes please visit our library or email history center staff with your search results. Documents referenced by any online index entry are available to purchase in hard copy or digital form.
